We have two great actors and we love what each of them bring to the character. However, we can only have one Zimm.
Should Zimm be MALE or FEMALE? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment and clicking on the poll to your right.
Even though this is a rough cut from the pilot and has TEMP SOUND and a TEMP SCORE, you’ll get the idea.

I lthink the actress brings more of an edge.

Cast the female.

Definately the female – much cooler perspective.

Definitely the woman. More of an edge, more natural delivery.

I would go with the Female. She came across better and would make for a more interesting character than the male.

DA GIRL MON.

The lady has an edge! On the screen she really makes the scene stand out. The guy, sorry mate, but he just doesn’t have what it takes…
And the way she portraits the character – you can sense there’s some depth to her, obviously (to the viewer) the character has personal issues.
The guy didn’t give the character the depth required. He just seemed damned arrogant and, quite frankly, a bit annoying.

I don’t think that she should be referring to the guys as ladies as much..Implies that she feels she is a guy and she is being derogatory to women conveying that women are beneath her!! But otherwise, very powerful and I think she brings more of an edge to the scene!!

I would cast the female. I think she brings more of down to earth confidence to the character. I also think I female lead is a great way to go if the script can lend itself to that , which this, from the small piece I’ve seen , seems to. Best of luck.

Female… BY FAR!

I prefer the female actor – not because I’m one but she shows depth in her skills and is more convincing in this scene than the male.
Loving this!! Build your fans while in production… smart!

The girl, by far the better choice.

All three actors are much more credible and interesting in this version, there is real tension and depth to all the performances that makes the significance of the scene play much better than the male version which comes off as too glib and just witty banter. Here the bantering works and she plays it as more than that, she really communicates something with the words she is given

I have to say both are bland and lack charisma but if these two are the only choice, I’d go with the woman. Lose the biker chick attitude though. She can have issues but that type of female characterization is tired and played out.

I think this scene overall played better then the other. She does more depth and edge. While confident and sarcastic, she doesn’t come off as cocky or flippant.

I wanted to say the guy hes hot but the girl was better

The female does a better job by far.

emm.. I vote for the female version, but if change the fbi agents of the woman version to male version, and if the actor be more sarcastic ,it will better. (emm.. ZIMM sounds a male name in my opinion)
p.D. the girl rules! xD
when premieres?

I think she makes it funnier, if that’s what you’re heading for.
And the other guy was so… American. It’s hard to see past that generic face of his. Personally, I like her better.

Well, deep down all males fear females…so in a way she gave me an uneasy feeling. Casting the lead roll as female gets my thumbs up.
The male test made me want to punch the dude in the face. For some reason I didn’t like it.
To try and keep things fair, I personally didn’t like the camera angles and movement as much on the male test. I am sure that took away from the experience.
